Earlier, the media reported that the Guangzhou Municipal Administration of Industry and Commerce had failed to pass the 50-sampling inspection of LED bulbs. Recently, the reporter tracked the interview and found that some enterprises have begun to recall the problem products. However, some companies have shouted that the industry and commerce department only checks the performance of security and it is difficult to regulate the market. The reporter was informed that some of the manufacturers on the list have already recalled the products on the list. However, some lighting dealers in Guangzhou revealed that some of the LED industry brands on the list did not implement recall measures.
Although LED companies have a cooperative attitude towards the sampling inspection of industry and commerce, many companies also reflect the limitations of industrial and commercial sampling. A dealer told reporters that there are only a few brands in the industry that have been sampled, and many of the big-name lamps have not entered the scope of sampling. The reporter also found that 9 of the 15 unqualified products announced by Guangzhou Industry and Commerce were unbranded products.
On the other hand, some enterprises believe that the industrial and commercial sampling inspection does not conduct random inspection of the core indicators such as light efficiency, color rendering index and brightness of LED lamps, and only stays on the sampling inspection of signs and energy efficiency labels. Many enterprises have also called for only the introduction of relevant standards as soon as possible to strengthen the detection of the core performance indicators of LED lamps, in order to truly play a role in regulating the market.
