The Daqing Refining & Chemical Company's atmospheric decompression workshop has completed the transformation of three pumps such as softened water pumps. The electricity consumption has saved an average of 35% before the transformation, saving about 380,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity and saving more than 260,000 yuan.

In the production process, technicians found that the opening of some pump outlet valves was small and the outlet pressure was high, resulting in a substantial increase in closure losses and waste of electrical energy. In order to better match the operation of the pump with the actual production and improve the operating efficiency of the pump, the workshop organization analyzed and studied the pump with room for improvement. By comparing the operating data and operating conditions of the pump over the past three years, Combining the experience of retrofitting of the previous pump, the cutting amount of the pump impeller is accurately calculated to ensure that the pump can meet the production requirements after the retrofit, and the purpose of saving electricity can also be achieved. The pump operation can be close to the optimal state.
