Bosch CRS1-16 Provides Fourth and Fifth Emission Standard Solutions

Weichai's five products will match Bosch CRS1-16+Denox6-5 or CRS1-18+ DPF, while Europe 6 products will use CRS1-18+Denox6-5+DPF, higher levels of common rail system will enable greater fuel efficiency, power will be greatly improved.

The CRS1-16 common rail system of Bosch is now widely used in China's National 4th Light Engine. It is a small, lightweight system designed specifically for the needs of the Chinese market. The high-pressure pump and injector used in the system have all been domestically produced. Chemicals, quality and price are all very competitive. It consists of four major components, common rail fuel injectors, high pressure rails, high pressure pumps and electronic control units. The working principle is that the high pressure pump provides the high pressure rail with pressure independently of the engine speed and fuel injection. In the SCR catalytic converter, the nitrogen oxides, which are the main pollutants in the exhaust gas, are reduced to harmless water and ammonia in the SCR catalytic converter. If the Bosch CRS1-16 common rail system is defined as the light engine common rail system best suited to the country's four emissions, then the Bosch CRS1-18 must be the most common rail system in line with the national five standard because it solves the CRS1-16 common rail. The system needs to consume vehicle urea to meet the emission standards. In design, the CRS1-18 uses a new, economical ball valve structure injector with a maximum injection pressure of up to 1800 bar. By combining it with an electronic control unit, five injections per injection stroke can be achieved. Reduced noise and fuel consumption, and then through the DPF filter, easily meet the country's five emission requirements.

There have been exaggerated assessments of the "Euro 6" emission standards, saying that the human body that meets the "Euro 6" emissions can directly breathe to describe the strict "Euro 6" emissions. In response to such stringent emission standards, Bosch is well-prepared to be a global leader in components and giants, common rail systems and aftertreatment systems, through the more efficient Bosch CRS1-18 common rail system combined with SCR urea injection.
