Ukoma produces 1 million new plants in the United States

According to media reports, YTMM tires manufacturing company YTMM announced that the company’s US$300 million new factory was opened in West Point, Mississippi.

The new plant, which covers an area of ​​1 million square feet (about 90,000 square meters), will begin construction in September 2013 and will be used to produce commercial truck tires.

The new plant currently employs more than 260 employees and is expected to increase to 500 in the future. Under full-load operation, the tire production capacity can reach 1 million pieces/year.

In July this year, Yokohama also plans to expand the production capacity at the Bahadurgarh plant in India to increase its market share in the country. The factory mainly produces car tires such as Yokohama Earth-1 and S. drive.
