BorgWarner to Provide Visctronic Fan Drivers for Mercedes-Benz Heavy Trucks

According to media reports, parts supplier Borg Warner will supply its Visctronic fan drive to Daimler commercial vehicles in India .

BorgWarner said that its electronically controlled variable-speed fan drive can respond to the cooling needs of the engine in a timely manner, can be disconnected in seconds without cooling the air, and keep running at a minimum speed, can reduce fuel consumption by 2% to More than 5%.
