BOPS PS688B meets the demand for polystyrene resin for biaxially-stretched polystyrene sheet manufacturers and is mainly used for the production of food packaging materials.
In recent years, with the continuous development of packaging requirements and processing technologies, the performance requirements for raw material resins are also increasing. To this end, Yanshan Petrochemical has specially set up a task group to focus on research and development of these two new products. The HDPE 6600B developed by them mainly focuses on domestic lubricant drums and polar solution drums. Through two years of research, production and technical services, the product has been industrialized and stabilized on Yanshan Petrochemical's 140,000-ton/year tank-type slurry low-pressure polyethylene plant. Has been successfully applied to Great Wall lubricants, a unified lubricant, and antifreeze, food, washing supplies packaging production.
The BOPS PS688B product developed by Yanshan Petrochemical Co., Ltd. not only has excellent processing flow and mechanical properties, but also optimizes the adjustment of the polymerization process parameters and the optimization of the additive formulation system. The product also has good optical performance and ensures the transparency of BOPS sheet products. Styrene residual monomer content is less than 0.04%, to meet the hygienic requirements of polystyrene products for food packaging. Since the product was industrialized in August 2006, the cumulative production and sales volume has reached more than 13,000 tons.
