The National Development and Reform Commission issued a notice on the 10th and issued the first batch of national natural gas distributed energy demonstration projects. The central government will give appropriate support to the first demonstration projects. This means that the prelude to the large-scale construction of the National Natural Gas Distributed Energy Demonstration Project has been opened. According to the preliminary plan, during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†period, China will build about 1,000 natural gas distributed energy projects and plans to build 10 or so distributed energy demonstration areas with typical characteristics.
The four projects announced in the first batch include Huadian Group Jiangsu Taizhou Medical City Building Distributed Energy Station Project (4000kW), CNOOC Tianjin R&D Industrial Base Distributed Energy Project (4358kW), Beijing Gas China Petroleum Technology Innovation Base (A -29 Plots) Energy Center Project (13312kW), Huadian Group Wuhan Wuhan Creative World Distributed Energy Station Project (19160kW).
The notice requires that project owners pay close attention to the preliminary preparations for the first batch of demonstration projects, and complete various tasks such as site selection, land pre-approval, environmental assessment, energy conservation, water use, and power grid access permit as soon as possible; and formulate an equipment implementation plan as soon as possible. Reported to the National Energy Administration. The notice also asked the relevant provinces and cities to actively support the construction of the first batch of demonstration projects, assist in the processing of relevant supporting documents, and ensure that construction will start in 2012.
