On the whole, its shape is similar to a bulb-shaped sorting chamber, the upper part of which is a truncated cone, the middle part is a cylinder, and the bottom is a hemispherical sorting disc. In the upper part, there is a tailings pipe inserted into the hemispherical part, and the outer side of the tailings pipe is covered with a strong pressure and steady flow ring composed of a cylindrical surface and a conical surface. The center of the bottom of the hemisphere is filled with a concentrate tube. On the inner wall of the hemisphere, a plurality of involute and spiral grooves of different shapes for sorting are engraved, and the end of the groove is provided with a flat area of ​​Φ100.
During operation, the slurry enters the cavity from the feeding pipe in a tangential direction, and the strong pressure and steady flow ring forces the fed slurry to rotate and correspondingly increase the ore pressure, so that the slurry produces a strong rotating flow. As the pyramidal cavity increases, the swirling flow tends to be stable. At this time, the ore group is layered by density. The layer on the wall is coarse and dense. The layer has a high concentration and the cavity is high. On the inner side are fine particles and a slime layer.
When the swirling flow moves down to the chassis, in the higher concentration outer layer, the gold particles first enter the grooves of the chassis. The gold particles are driven by the rotating slurry in the groove, and flow along the groove toward the center of the bottom end. During the flow of the gold particles, the gangue particles in the groove are continuously squeezed out of the groove, so that the gold in the groove The taste is getting higher and higher.
The heavy sand minerals in the trench gather on the flat surface at the bottom to form a relatively stable, relatively stable rotating loose layer, creating a good environment for stratification by density. The ore group is further sorted here, and the concentrate with higher grade is discharged from the concentrate pipe at the center; the tailings are discharged from the cavity through the overflow pipe under the action of the axial force.
