A total of 123 BMW Brilliance X1 vehicles, which were produced between October 23, 2017 and October 28, 2017, were recalled.
The film in the brake booster of some vehicles in this recall range is incorrectly installed, which may cause vacuum leakage, causing the brake boost to decrease, and the force required to be applied to the pedal during braking increases, posing a safety hazard. BMW Brilliance Automotive Co., Ltd. will replace the brake booster assembly for vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate safety hazards. Stock vehicles will be sold after eliminating defects.
