Recently, more than 20 companies, including Qingdao Yinhui Car Dealer Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Jiayou Wuling Trade Co., Ltd., took the lead in establishing the Auto Parts Distribution Association. Up to now, more than 100 members have been developed and more than 600 potential members have been collected.
Qingdao is one of the fourteen cities in the country with more than one million cars. There are more than 3,000 auto parts dealers in the city and more than 50,000 employees. Such a large car aftermarket does not have its own organization, which seriously restricts the development of the industry. The nature of the association is that the units and individuals engaged in the auto parts industry in this city voluntarily form a non-profit social organization.
In recent years, the development of the automobile industry in our city has been very rapid. There are 20 vehicle production companies and more than 260 related parts and components manufacturing companies. As of the end of 2011, the number of motor vehicles in the city reached 1.76 million. These laid a good foundation for the development of auto parts industry in our city. After the establishment of the Qingdao Auto Parts Association, it will discuss how to build platforms to integrate resources, develop in groups, and how to give full play to the role of the association as a bridge link. It will do practical things for members and will play an active role in the healthy development of the auto parts industry in our city.
