Remote photoelectric products include LED test instruments, photometers, spectroradiometers, etc., which are mainly used for LED and lighting tests. The company stated that high-precision rapid spectroradiometers and photometers are similar to food safety detectors in principle. Because the company has a core technology reserve in spectrometers, it can be developed for food safety, water quality, and other technical upgrades. Products such as color detection products; and whether they eventually invest in R&D to enter these areas will also depend on operating conditions.

Analysts said that the detection of waste oil is one of the major issues that need to be solved in the field of food safety in China. Terahertz technology can effectively identify waste oil. According to reports, the application principle of terahertz spectrometer in the field of food safety detection is to form a spectral pattern of waste oil by changing the light source of the terahertz, and then to compare the spectrum of the detection object to make a discrimination.
