Green tires Chinese companies "not good"

The results of the two spot checks all show that about 10% of the samples do not meet the requirements of the EU REACH regulations, and the production of substandard samples is all in China, involving major Chinese tire manufacturers.

Seeing that the EU "Labeling Law" will be officially implemented, the above information will undoubtedly allow Chinese tire industry people to "knead a cold sweat." As one of the representatives of the participating vehicle companies, Chen Zhi of the head of the chassis safety system design department of Dongfeng Motor Company stated that Dongfeng is also working on “green tires”. "We must control costs on the basis of guaranteeing performance. This requires technical protection. Technicians must have market awareness so that they can control the technological development trend by understanding market demand."

Regarding the popularity of China's "green tires," participants in the conference said that it was difficult to predict because "each company will adopt different practices in accordance with market requirements and its own strategic development."
