Dongfeng Motor sells 1,634,000 vehicles in the first half of the year

The reporter learned from Dongfeng Company yesterday that in the first half of 2012, Dongfeng Motor Company sold 1.634 million cars, which was an increase of 8.57% year-on-year. Sales volume continued to hold the second place in the industry, and sales growth was much higher than the industry average. In 2012, the main business objectives of Dongfeng Motor Co. were to sell 3.3 million automobiles and realize sales revenue of RMB 420 billion; the profit was better than the previous year's level.

It is understood that in the first half of 2012, Dongfeng Motor Corporation sold 1.287 million passenger cars, an increase of 17.31% year-on-year, and sold 347,000 commercial vehicles. Dongfeng Motor sold 598,000 vehicles of its own brand, of which 225,600 were sold by Dongfeng brand passenger vehicles, up by 7.04% year-on-year; Dongfeng Yulonna Zhijie, Dongfeng Nissan Kaichen, Dongfeng Honda Siming and other branded passenger cars realized It sold 33,900 vehicles; Dongfeng’s own-brand commercial vehicles achieved sales of 338,500 vehicles.
