Yuchai's “small digging” has become a major industry with sales of 617 million in 2005

Guangxi Yuchai Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. adheres to the road of independent innovation and specializes in the development and production of small excavators. Its sales revenue has increased from 5.73 million yuan in 1999 to 617 million yuan in 2005, achieving sustained high-speed growth.

At present, Yuchai Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. has become China's largest production and export base for small construction machinery with Chinese national brands, and YC series excavators have also become “well-known brands in the same industry in China”.

Yuchai Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. is the only company specializing in small construction machinery in China. Since 1989, it has been developing small hydraulic excavators. The first small-scale excavator was successfully trial-produced in that year. In 1990, small excavators began mass production.

After 16 years of research, exploration and practice, Yuchai Engineering Machinery Corporation has accumulated rich design experience and research technology in the design and development of hydraulic excavators, especially small hydraulic excavators, and developed YC13, YC18, YC135, YC225, etc. Ten series of more than 60 varieties, covering traffic, municipal, farmland, water conservancy and other fields.

At present, Yuchai Construction Machinery has 800 sets of main production equipment, more than 400 professional and technical personnel of various types, and it has formed an annual capacity of 8,000 small-scale construction machinery.

In recent years, Yuchai Construction Machinery Company has increased support for technology and research and development expenses, and technology development investment has been increasing year by year. In the past three years, nearly 24 million yuan have been invested for product research and development and technological transformation.

A strong R&D team and investment made Yuchai Engineering Machinery Company a great success in launching new products. Only last year it completed the development of nine series of new products and four series of variant products, of which three new products were included in the regional technological innovation project plan of the year; three products passed the appraisal of autonomous region scientific and technological achievements and the recognition of autonomous region-level high-tech products. In 2005, Yuchai Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. began to use the "Yuchai" trademark and brand export to create its own brand in overseas markets.
