Xiamen Zhengxin believes that the disputed trademark “Sakura Wheel” and its trademark “Sakura” constitute an approximate trademark. Because the word "Sakura Wheel" can be interpreted as the meaning of "sakura tires", it is easy to mislead ordinary consumers.

In addition, the goods approved for use by the two trademarks belong to the same category.

Xiamen Zhengxin said that the registration of “Sakura Wheel” is easy for the public to misunderstand the source of the product. Consumers may think that this tire has a specific relationship with Zhengxin.

It is understood that the "Sakura Wheel" tires were registered in 2015, 19 years later than the "Sakura" tires registered in 1996. The trademark belongs to Qingdao Meifu Road Tire Co., Ltd.

Meifu Road Tire is a trading company in Qingdao, Shandong Province with a registered capital of 500,000 yuan.

The company said that its "Sakura Wheel" trademark and the new "Sakura" trademark have significant differences in design. They never thought of imitating "sakura" when they registered their trademarks, so there was no infringement.

Not long ago, the highly anticipated "TOYOTIRES" and "TOYOMOTO" trademark disputes ended in failure with "TOYOMOTO".

“TOYOMOTO” was declared an invalid trademark by the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
