On-site technical transformation - Lion Rock Copper Ore

The nature and origin of clay mineral ore industry type mainly containing copper and copper skarn breccia ore relatively simple, single copper ore. The slime is mainly from the mining process.
Desliming process and improvement The original design processing capacity of the plant is 1000 tons/day, and the crushing process is two sections and one closed circuit. In the second year after commissioning, the expansion was 2,000 tons/day, and the crushing process was changed to three sections and one closed circuit (Fig. 1). The first revision of the crushing process was carried out between 1971 and 1974 due to the large amount of ore in the production. In 1979, in conjunction with the expansion project of the Laoyingling mining area, a new mud removal system was built in the crushing plant. A crusher is installed under the pit to control the original ore block (Fig. 2). Production practice has proved that the mud removal effect is good.

The flotation of the slime is 4.17 times higher than that of the lump ore (the oxidation rate of the mud ore is 12.89%, the oxidation rate of the lump ore is 3.09%), and the active copper ion in the pulp is twice as high. Flotation conditions were tested on mud and lump ore. The results are shown in the table below.

The separate flotation index of lump ore and mud mine is better than the mixed selection index. The concentrate grade is 0.16% higher and the recovery rate is 0.62% higher.
