Recently, AQSIQ has approved the construction of the “National Automobile Electrical Parts Quality Supervision and Inspection Center” in Ruian City, Wenzhou, China, the “Capital of China’s Automobile and Motorcycle Fittings”. This center is the nation’s first national-level automotive electrical parts quality inspection center.

According to the plan, the center will be built on the basis of the Quality Inspection Institute of Rui'an City, covering an area of ​​16 mu. The project will have an additional investment of 36 million yuan and a total investment of 73 million yuan. After the completion of the project, the total area will be nearly 10,000 square meters. The scope of inspection will include five categories and 81 species. Automotive electrical parts and components, involving 142 domestic and foreign standards, covering more than 85% of the country's automotive electrical industry standards. After the center is completed, it will be a “four-in-one” public technology service platform integrating inspection, inspection, scientific research, standard research, and technical services. It will provide enterprises with quality inspection analysis, standard system revision, industrial common detection technology research and development, standard information, and technical trade. Measures and other public technical services are of great significance for giving full play to the technical support agencies' quality and support for the development of the auto parts industry in Zhejiang and even the whole country, and for accelerating the autonomy of auto parts and components industry and achieving transformation and upgrading.
