Self-priming pump installation precautions
1. Before installing the self-priming pump, you should carefully check whether the bolts of the self-priming pump are loose and there is no foreign matter falling into the pump body, so as not to damage the impeller when the self-priming pump is running.
2. Put the self-priming pump on the concrete foundation, put an isolation pad between the bottom plate and the foundation, and adjust the level of the isolation pad to find the level of the pump, and tighten the bolts after adjusting.
3. Before installing the self-priming pump, the appropriate concrete foundation should be prepared by the fire pump manufacturer according to the basic size of the self-priming pump, and the anchor bolts must be embedded in the concrete foundation process. Concrete foundation refers to the large self-priming pump products, and small self-priming pumps do not need to be used for concrete foundation.
4. When there is a dust cover at the inlet and outlet of the self-priming pump, the dust cover should be removed and connected to the pipeline. It should be noted that if the self-priming pump product that absorbs the fastest water is used, the outlet pipe must Turning can only be done after 1 meter vertical, otherwise the water in the pump body can be easily drained during the self-priming process.
5. For the convenience of maintenance and safe use, a regulating valve should be installed on the inlet and outlet pipes of the self-priming pump, and a pressure gauge should be installed between the outlet valve and the pump to ensure that the fire pump manufacturer has certified the self-priming pump at its rated capacity. It can be used within the range of flow and head, so that the self-priming pump can run normally and prolong the service life of the self-priming pump.
6. Before the self-priming pump is installed and started, the pump shaft should be dialed to fill the pump cavity with liquid at the same time, so that the liquid fills the pump cavity to achieve the purpose of exhausting. Check the pump for leakage, and the impeller should have no frictional sound or stuck. If there is friction or stuck, the pump should be disassembled, check the specific cause and solve the problem.
7. The suction and outlet pipes of self-priming pumps cannot be supported by water pumps. Instead, a separate support is needed to support the inlet and outlet pipes. The diameter of the inlet and outlet pipes should match the diameter of the self-priming pump, especially the inlet pipes cannot Larger and larger will affect the self-priming height of the self-priming pump. If the inlet pipe of the self-priming pump is reduced during installation, the outlet pipe must also be reduced.
