Nippon Denso recently announced a change of personnel, and it has appointed Haruhiko Kato as president of DPAM, the subsidiary company's electrical product and service company.

Haruhiko Kato is succeeding Yoshihiko Yamada, who earlier announced that he will retire. After taking up the new position, Haruhiko Kato is mainly responsible for the sales, manufacturing and distribution of DPAM.
As a trainee engineer, Haruhiko Kato joined Denso in 1986 and was responsible for the development of air conditioning systems. He also worked at Denso Asia and Europe. In 2012, Haruhiko Kato was promoted to General Manager of Market and Product Development after Denso. In April this year, it was transferred to DPAM and served as an executive.
In February 2015, Denso had issued a statement stating that Koji Arima would replace Nobuaki Katoh as the company’s new president and CEO while the latter served as chairman of Denso.
