On May 31, the first 6S40ME-B9.5#1 host of Dalian Marine Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. was successfully inspected. The aircraft has a maximum output of 4320 kilowatts and is classified by China Classification Society (CCS) to meet TII emission standards. It will be equipped with a 13,000-ton asphalt ship built by Qingdao Wuchuan Heavy Industry for COSCO Shipping.
     It is reported that 6S40ME-B is a "small man" in the host made by Dalian Shipyard, but there are still many functions. The machine adopts the High-load optimization mode according to the ship design requirements and matches the TCR22 supercharger. The control system, monitoring system and control system are reasonably arranged to meet the safe use and neat and tidy, and fully consider the convenient operation on board. The compact layout and user-friendly design not only fully meet the requirements of use, but also extend the maintenance interval of the mainframe and reduce the operating cost of the shipowner.
