Cycling Tips

My winter night's hand is like a hot vow, your blinking eyes are fragile, the eager years are relentless, and the arrogant heart has vanished. Pushing the car to walk in the cold wind of the winter night, at this moment of loneliness, even a repair car stall could not be found. It was really when the car arrived that it was less.

When it comes to oiling a bicycle, what you really need to find is just the parts that can move, that is, the metal parts that touch each other. To use light, bike-specific lubricants, do not use the dirty oil found in your home garage. If the oil is too thin, it will quickly evaporate and cannot maintain its effect; if it is too thick, it will remain on it and stick a lot of dust.

Pay special attention to the following sections:

Chain: The chain is the main transmission component on the bicycle, and it is also the place where you need the most protection and most need to be oiled regularly. If you ride in a dusty or muddy environment, you should clean the chain regularly.

Transmission: Your front dial and rear dial are the parts that move the chain when shifting. They consist of numerous small moving parts and also include two guide wheels. You want to keep them clean and lubricated so that they do not stick together or become stiff. Change speed when pedaling, check that the transmission is working properly, and then use lube to lubricate any moving parts, including turning points.

Brakes and shift lines: These lines are responsible for passing your brakes and shifting behavior. If they rust or stick due to not being lubricated in time, you will not be able to stop or change gears smoothly or even at all. This is a major issue. Check them often, especially when you are riding in a dusty or humid environment, add a few drops and re-lubricate.

Brakes and shift handles: They are on the handlebars and are the key components for braking and shifting. Drop 1-2 drops of lubricant on their turning points and on the adjusting nut to ensure proper operation. Then wipe off excess oil to prevent adsorption of dust.

Brakes: Place a few drops of oil on any rotating parts you see on the brakes (installed on your front and rear wheels). If these turning points are not easy to find, you can squeeze the brake handle and take a closer look at where to turn. The relative movement of these metal parts is where lubrication is required. Be very careful not to let oil drop onto the brake block. Otherwise, it will not be able to effectively brake.

Feet: Apply a few drops of oil to the place where the pedals and cranks are connected. Also, let the oil go to the rotating part.
