Recently, it was learned from the Chongqing Municipal Information Industry Bureau that a virtual instrument that can be used for automotive gearbox detection was successfully developed by the School of Mechanical Engineering of Chongqing University. According to reports, this extension based on the research project of the National 863 Project is also the first automotive gearbox diagnostic instrument developed with virtual instrument technology.
The virtual automobile gearbox diagnostic instrument developed by Professor Qin Shuren is a detector developed by using a virtual instrument system with independent intellectual property rights. It combines the time domain, frequency domain and time-frequency analysis of the vibration signal of the gearbox. Network, fuzzy recognition, expert system diagnosis and other methods can find common faults such as bearing defects, tooth surface fatigue spalling, tooth surface abrasion, root fracture and tooth surface wear.
The condition monitoring fault diagnosis system is the core part of the virtual car gearbox diagnostics. It can realize continuous, intermittent or periodic monitoring in the amplitude, time and frequency domains, and can provide warnings according to the set threshold. Alarms, trend analysis, potential fault information, display of fault types and locations, help improve gearbox detection efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
