Beijing Feifufu develops fire curtains for high-speed rail trains exported to Europe

The Macedonia EMU project is not only the first EMU project that China has exported to Europe, but also the first single EMU product that meets European TSI (European Railway Interoperability Technical Specification) requirements to enter the European market. In the final train between the carriages, ultra-thin, irregular-shaped projection surface fire shutters (hereinafter referred to as ultra-thin fire curtains) developed by Beijing Feifufu to high-speed trains were adopted. It is the first time in the world that fire shutters have been used in train cars.

The ultra-thin fire curtain developed by Beijing Feifufu specifically for high-speed rail adopts materials and transmission methods that are completely different from those used in conventional fireproof roller blinds in buildings. For example, the commonly used fire shutter curtain used in construction is made of glass fiber cloth. Ceramic fiber cloth, ceramic fiber blanket, radiation protection aluminum foil composite or steel profiles, thickness is usually about 20mm. The ultra-thin fire curtains are made of special fabrics, with a special coating thickness of only 4mm. The projection surface of a conventional fireproof roller blind must be a rectangle, and the projection surface of the roller blind has a wide upper portion, a narrow lower portion has two different size rectangles and a trapezoidal projection surface. Of course, at the same time, the guide rail is not perpendicular to the ground. The second part is vertical and the other part has a certain angle. These are completely original technologies.
