The rubber track has the characteristics of light weight, low vibration, low noise, large adhesion, good ground adaptability, and no damage to the road surface; it is especially suitable for construction in cities.
The basic structure of the rubber track and the steel track is the same. It is usually composed of guide wheels, supporting wheels, driving wheels, rollers, crawlers and walking frames.
(1) The rubber crawler is a continuous continuous crawler belt molded with rubber. The interior is reinforced with fabric and multiple steel ropes. There are crawlers on the outside and transmission parts on the inside. The transmission parts made of steel are embedded in the belt of vulcanized rubber. The main parameters of rubber track are pitch, number of sections, track width, pattern style, embedded metal parts style, etc.
(2) The driving wheel is installed on the travel reducer, which is used to wind the track to ensure the mechanical running operation. The driving wheels for the rubber track adopt convex tooth shape with a pitch of 128mm. There are bending stresses during crawler work, which can cause fatigue damage to the crawler, so the diameter of the drive wheel is not easy to be too small.
(3) The track rollers, supporting rollers and guide wheels respectively ride on both sides of the crawler teeth and press on the rubber plane. In order to prevent the rim from being cut and severely damaged by squeezing the rubber, the rim is wider: due to the crawler teeth High, so the wheel body is larger.
