US Navy receives two 40 ton/m knuckle boom cranes

Recently, DMW Marine delivered two 40-ton/m knuckle boom cranes to the US Navy. These two M400 cranes will replace two similar cranes from another company.

According to DMW, the US Navy has decided to replace its rusting crane with a corrosion-resistant marine crane. DMW noted that its cranes are equipped with stainless steel pipes and fittings, sandblasted and flame metal structures that help to adapt to the marine environment and Ni-Cr 500 piston rods.

In addition, DMW has also received orders for two small knuckle boom cranes for a Canadian survey vessel.
