Recently, the SC9DF new product appraisal committee agreed that the SC9DF375Q3 diesel engine will be put into trial production on the basis of the C prototype. This is the conclusion made by the appraisal committee after reviewing the full set of drawings and technical documents of SC9DF375Q3 diesel engine, performance of prototypes, and durability test report of the gantry, and the test results of major performance indicators.

It is understood that the SC9DF375Q3 diesel engine is a newly-developed vehicle power product based on the D9. The dynamics, economy, reliability, noise and emissions of the prototype are clearly optimized. The product design reflects the serialization and generalization of the product. With standardized characteristics, the emission has reached the national 3 standard. The prototype's performance tests and rig durability tests were conducted in accordance with standards developed by the Southwest Research Institute of the United States.
