On December 3, Shandong Hualu Hengsheng Chemical Co., Ltd. issued an announcement that the board of directors of the company reviewed and passed the “Proposal on the New 200,000-ton/year Polyol Project”.
Hualu Hengsheng plans to build a 200,000-ton/year polyol plant using propylene and self-produced syngas as raw materials, with a construction period of 13 months. The estimated total investment of this project is 680 million yuan. After the completion of the project, the average annual sales income will be 2.02 billion yuan.
Polyol is an important basic organic chemical raw material, and has a wide range of uses in chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and other fields. It is difficult to meet the demand for the existing domestic device production capacity, and the polyol product has a good market growth.
