Gansu Institute of Metrology “Development of Medical Oxygen Analyzer Quality Analyzer” Received Acceptance

[China Instrument Network Instrument Research and Development] Recently, the Scientific Research Plan Project of the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), undertaken by the Gansu Provincial Institute of Metrology, has successfully passed the acceptance by the AQSIQ.

The project was established in October 2015 and it took more than one year to complete. The experts invited by the acceptance meeting include researchers in the fields related to metrology, senior engineers from hospitals, and related research institutes. Medical oxygen generators are widely used in medical and health departments at all levels and belong to the national second-class medical devices. The accuracy of their measurement performance will directly affect the lives of patients and their therapeutic effects.

The medical oxygen generator quality analyzer developed by the project can realize the detection of real-time, on-line, and key indicators. It is portable and easy to operate. It can perform real-time on-site detection of key parameters for medical institutions and home medical oxygen generators. Good promotion and application value, can be widely used at all levels of inspection and testing agencies.

The acceptance committee heard and reviewed the work report and relevant technical documents of the project team, and reviewed the relevant certification materials on the spot. It was deemed that the project had successfully completed the task objectives of the plan task book, and all technical indexes and functions met the requirements of the project task book. Some of the indicators are better than the requirements of the project task book. The project results are scientifically sound and practical. They fill the gaps in the country and they have unanimously agreed to pass the acceptance check.
