Introduction to the report:
Foreword:
Xi'an Tianzhou Mining Technology Development Co., Ltd. was commissioned by the XXX molybdenum mine in Jixian County, Henan Province to conduct flotation test on its molybdenum ore. After receiving the test samples on November 8, 2006, the ores, rock and mineral identification, physical and chemical properties determination and experimental research were carried out immediately. Because the ore belongs to partially oxidized molybdenum sulfide ore and contains harmful impurities such as carbon, lead and copper , it brings certain difficulties to the test. The testers carried out a series of experimental research work on the characteristics of ore and obtained good test results. The specific indicators are:
In the sulphide ore fraction, the recovery rate of molybdenum is 83.49%;
With partial molybdenum oxide, the molybdenum recovery rate is 85.18%;
Together with all molybdenum oxide, the molybdenum recovery is 86.87%.
In the coarse molybdenum, the recovery of molybdenum was 72.05%.
The grade of molybdenum concentrate is 38.69% of molybdenum before calcination; after calcination, it is 44.93% of molybdenum and 24.1 g/ton of silver .
The lead crude product is 28.59% lead, and the recovery rate accounts for about 30% of the total lead content. Silver containing 135 g / ton,
The test study report recommended the process for the mine and made some suggestions for the future production of the mine. The mine can be adopted as appropriate in future production.
Conclusion:
The test ore sample sent from the XXX molybdenum mine in Jixian County, Henan Province is a partially oxidized molybdenum sulfide ore and contains harmful impurities such as carbon, lead and copper. Although it is identified by rock ore, it is basically a molybdenum sulfide ore. However, the results of phase analysis and flotation tests show that the ore is partially oxidized, which is not consistent with the results of rock and mineral identification. The reason for the analysis may be that the number of light flakes is small or the molybdenum oxide mineral is not easily found in the light flakes.
In response to the characteristics of the ore, the testers conducted a series of process conditions tests and achieved good test results. The specific indicators are:
The sulphide ore fraction (calculated to the middle mine 3), the recovery of molybdenum is 83.49%; plus part of the molybdenum oxide (calculated to the molybdenum oxide concentrate), the molybdenum recovery is 85.18%; plus all molybdenum oxide (calculated to molybdenum oxide) Tailings), the recovery rate of molybdenum is 86.87%.
In the coarse molybdenum, the recovery of molybdenum was 72.05%.
The grade of molybdenum concentrate is 38.69% of molybdenum before calcination; after calcination, it is 44.93% of molybdenum and 24.1 g/ton of silver.
The lead grade is 26.59% lead, 135 g/ton silver, and the recovery rate is about 30% of the total lead.
The flotation of molybdenum oxide and the effective separation of molybdenum and carbon are technical problems in the field of ore dressing at home and abroad, and have been partially solved in this test.
Based on the test results, the following recommendations are made for the future adoption of the mine as appropriate:
1. The mine is mainly engaged in the production of molybdenum fine powder. The grade and recovery rate of lead should not be demanded. Otherwise, the lead content of the main product molybdenum concentrate will be exceeded.
2. Further explore the appropriate separation points of molybdenum and lead in production, so that the lead content of molybdenum concentrate should not exceed the standard, and the grade of lead coarse and fine can be made higher. The selection of lead in the recommended process can be handled as appropriate. If it is difficult to achieve the acceptable grade of lead, it may not be set.
3. The molybdenum oxide selected tailings in the recommended process contains 0.04% molybdenum, accounting for 1.69% of the recovery rate. Because of its high yield, returning to the front operation will deplete its grade and cause the mine to be too large. Therefore, it is recommended to dispose this part as the second tailings.
4. As part of molybdenum oxide, resulting in a substantial increase in the recovery rate can not, so that a slightly larger amount of coal oil test. In the production, it is considered that when the molybdenum sulfide is floated, the amount of kerosene is appropriately reduced, and the molybdenum sulfide can be floated up.
5. Continue to explore high-efficiency flotation reagents for molybdenum oxide in production in order to obtain higher recovery rates of molybdenum.
