In order to transfer data to the plant's PLC, SCADA or DCS systems, the Model 56 has HART or PROFIBUS DP digital communication capabilities, and the HART Communication Version 5 and Release 7 protocols are standard on all configurations. HART can also be easily added to the WirelessHART network through the Wireless Smart THUM Adapter, enabling wireless transmission of process variables and diagnostic information in hard to reach locations.
The modular design of the Model 56 Analyzer allows the addition of measurement channels to a single-input instrument. With simple wiring and quick start-up, the field instrument can be reconfigured. The quick start programming screen automatically recognizes the type of each measurement input and prompts the user to configure each sensor loop. With just a few simple steps, quick commissioning can be achieved.
The Rosemount Analytical Model 56 Analyzer's measurement capabilities include single-input/dual-input and can measure: pH, ORP, ISE (ion selective electrode), resistivity/point conductivity, percent concentration, total chlorine, residual chlorine, Chloramines, dissolved oxygen, gaseous oxygen, dissolved ozone, turbidity, pulsed flow, and temperature accept and process 4-20mA current input signals from any device (powered or unpowered).
