Although the consumption of cars is small, but with the increase in the demand for cars, the future increase is faster, and the requirements for hot plates are higher. Lightweight, mini-vehicles and cars in commercial vehicles account for about 65% of the consumption of hot-rolled plates, which is the main type of hot plate consumption, and the quality of hot plates is also higher than that of other types of vehicles.

Mei Gang:

Meisteel's 1422mm hot rolling production line successfully trial-produced structural steel QSTE380TM and SAPH440 for SAIC and Hafei Automobile Company in August 2006. In July 2007, it successfully produced high-strength automotive girder steel. B590L. As a result, the number of automotive steels used in Meigang has reached 17 and the production and quality have steadily increased. On February 13, 2009, ZQS500L, an automotive structural steel, was successfully prototyped and the first trial production refining rate was 100%.

The existing steel plate for automobile structure of Meigang has the SAPH series of automotive structural parts such as automobile frames and wheels for molding processability; the QSTE series of automotive girder structural parts for good cold forming performance and high strength; used for manufacturing. On June 7, 2010, Mei Steel started the construction of the 1780mm hot rolling line. The construction of the line also includes a blast furnace of 4,070 cubic meters and associated converters and continuous casting lines. At present, the construction of blast furnaces and converters has begun. The hot-rolled line is 1780mm wide, and the production capacity will be about 3 million tons. It is expected to start production in 2012.

Ning Gang:

On January 25, 2008, Ninglang Steel 1780 hot rolling project was completed and put into production with a designed capacity of 4 million tons. In December 2008, Ningyuan Iron & Steel officially started the research and development of automobile wheel steel, and succeeded in trial production of wheel steel series such as N380CL and N420CL. In mid-December 2009, the 510MPa grade car beam steel plate 510L was successfully developed.

Cheng Gang:

In October 2008, Chenggang's 1780mm hot-rolled project was successfully hot rolled through the entire line, with a production capacity of 3 million tons. At the end of 2009, it successfully rolled hot-rolled coils for C380CL automotive wheels with a size of 13.5mm x 1480mm. In May 2010, it developed and produced 17,000 tons of vanadium-containing hot-rolled coils for 510L and 610L automotive girders, all of which qualified. The product is used in Beiqi Foton, Hubei Shiyan and other truck manufacturing bases.

Tiantie:

On October 12, 2007, the Tiantie hot-rolled coil project was completed and put into production, with an annual output of 3.8 million tons of hot-rolled coils. The total investment of the project is 4.8 billion yuan, and the scale of hot-rolled coils with an annual output of 3.8 million tons or more can be formed after the project is completed. The estimated new sales revenue is 11.8 billion yuan.

May 20, 2008, successfully trial production of TT510L car beam sheet. In mid-October 2008, Tiantie hot-rolled steel sheet expanded into new steel grades - successively developed Q345B for forging slabs and TT380CL for 20Mn automobile wheels. On November 13, 2008, Tiantie Hot Rolled Sheet Co., Ltd. conducted the trial rolling of the steel TT610L for high-strength automobile girders.

Angang:

In June 2007, Angang's 1780mm hot rolling line was put into operation, with an annual output of 3.5 million tons of hot-rolled coils.

In mid-March, 2009, the production line successfully rolled and tested the AG510QK automobile axle shell steel. This is another “double high” automotive steel product developed independently by Ansteel after the successful development of automobile girder steel and wheel steel in 2008. .

The research and development of varieties are mainly aimed at the lightweighting of automotive steels. After being used in automobile longitudinal and horizontal beams and automobile compartments, they can reduce the weight of cars by about 40%. So far, the production line of automotive steel has been used in R&D and production of 510L, 610L automobile girder plates, AG510QK automotive axle housing steel, axle steel AG480QZ, automobile wheel steel and automobile body steel, and other varieties and specifications, forming scale series. , become the main hit product. Products into the Shiyan Hubei, Dongfeng Second Automobile Group procurement platform, Shaanxi Auto heavy truck and other domestic mainstream markets and domestic first-line car manufacturing companies, including axle steel domestic market share has exceeded 50%.

On February 27, 2010, the successful rolling test of 600MPa-class high-strength steel car specification sheets, with a width of 1350mm, was completed in five thickness specifications, with the thinnest specification reaching 2.0mm.

In May 2010, it successfully developed and mass-produced high-strength hot-rolled coil AG600XT steel for automobile compartments, of which the thinnest specification was only 2mm. This is the first type of special steel plate for automotive vehicles independently developed by Ansteel.

Wine and steel:

On July 25, 2006, the project of continuous casting and rolling of 2 million tons of hot-rolled sheet in Jiuquan Steel was put into operation. Product specifications are 0.8 to 12.7 mm thick and 850 to 1600 mm wide hot rolled coils. The main products are mainly carbon, high-carbon, low-alloy high-strength structural steels, and special steels such as automotive structural steels, weathering steels, and pipeline steels. Currently, Jiuquan Steel has a car beam steel grade of 510L/590L/610L.
