China Valve Q2 Revenue Increases by 17.1% Year-on-Year

Beijing time August 9 news, China's valve announced as of June 30, 2011 the second quarter of 2011 results. The financial report shows that both sales and net profit have increased. The main points are as follows:

-Sales amounted to 57.7 million U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 17.1%;

- Gross profit of US$23.7 million, an increase of 3.2% over the same period of last year;

- Net profit of $10.8 million, a year-on-year decrease of 24.5%;

Diluted earnings per share were $0.30, which was less than analysts' expected $0.34, compared with $0.41 for the same period in 2010.
