Changzhou's "origin" reduced taxes over 40 million

From January to June 2008 in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, tariffs were reduced by 42.7 million U.S. dollars due to "origin". On July 9, the Changzhou Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau issued a Regional Certificate of Origin Asia Pacific Agreement for the export of a batch of chemical pigments to South Korea. Statistics from the Changzhou Inspection and Quarantine Department showed that from January to June, the city issued a total of 27,080 GSP, general origin and regional preferential certificates, an increase of 32.9% year-on-year, with a visa amount of 1.253 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 60.6%.
