Recently, the reporter collected the names of 15 kinds of mature pesticides from the relevant departments of the Ministry of Agriculture, and they constituted the first candidate for eliminating highly toxic and high residual pesticides.
In 2005, the Ministry of Agriculture organized relevant departments to promote large-scale demonstrations of these 15 kinds of promising alternative pharmaceuticals in ecological areas. They are: fipronil (Frigid), 50% tiger frog (complex of fipronil and trichlorfon), 20% avid + triazophos, buprofezin, acetamiprid, fenvalerate Ester, chlorpyrifos, profenofos, avermectin, pyridoxine, imidacloprid, bifenthrin, furanilate hydrazide, emamectin, indoxacarb (hits).
According to relevant sources of the Ministry of Agriculture, there are currently more than 70 pesticides being tested in the laboratory for virulence, and alternatives that may replace high-toxicity and high-residue pesticides will be screened out. All the demonstration and promotion work will be completed before the end of 2007.
