Ultra-deep hole drilling

Compared with general drilling, ultra deep hole drilling has the following special features. A hole position should be selected in the crystal rock area where the earth's crust is exposed as much as possible. 2 To remove as much as possible underground geological physical data such as cores, rock fragments, sidewall rock samples, liquid and gaseous samples, and geophysical well logs and geochemical information. 3 In order to reduce the total weight of drilling equipment and save total power consumption, high-strength light alloy drill pipe is used; in order to maintain the high stability of the long drill string (3000 to 15000 meters) and prevent the bending of the drill hole, a large number of trips are reduced. In order to reduce non-productive time and labor intensity, new techniques such as rope coring combined with hole bottoming and hole replacement should be adopted in conjunction with the bottom hole power machines (turbine drill, screw drill, impact rotary drill). 4 Crystal rock is hard and it is necessary to develop an all-new long-life diamond drill. 5Drilling work is conducted under high temperature (150~400°C) and high pressure (100~150MPa). All kinds of hole power machines, drill bits, logging tools, cables, etc. must improve the ability to withstand high temperature and high pressure. High-temperature drilling fluids and treatment agents must be used.
