According to the Chinese Academy of Sciences technical investigation, this technology is the first in China, and there are no reports of similar industrial installations abroad. The breakthrough of this technology has important demonstration significance for the rational use of petroleum resources and easing the contradiction between oil supply and demand.
The catalytic cracking dry gas contains abundant basic chemical raw material resources such as ethylene, which was burned off in the past due to no industrialized recovery technology. In the past two years, Tianke and Yanshan's scientists and technicians have used technology such as pressure swing adsorption, wet desulfurization and decarbonization to purify ethylene, ethane and propylene in catalytic cracked dry gas through technological innovations in processes, adsorbents and valves. For hydrocarbons, the ethylene yield of industrial plants built at Yanshan Company can reach 85%, and 7 tons of product gas such as ethylene can be recovered per hour, and the annual economic benefits can be increased by 150 million yuan. This set of investment in the 120 million yuan industrial plant can be fully recovered in less than a year. Further recovering hydrogen from the adsorbed exhaust gas generated by the device can provide cheap hydrogen gas resources for the cleanliness of gasoline and diesel. If the catalytic cracking gas recovery ethylene technology is combined with the dilute ethylene ethylbenzene and DCC processes, a more competitive new basic organic material production route can also be formed.
Experts in the industry analyze that currently China's existing catalytic cracking production capacity is 93 million tons/year, and the annual output of catalytic cracking dry gas is about 4.14 million tons, and the base contains 730,000 tons of ethylene, 725 tons of ethane, and 110,000 tons of propane. Alkane components such as 40,000 tons of olefins and propane butane are produced with 110,000 tons of hydrogen and 110,000 tons of hydrogen. If the technology is fully promoted in the country, it will save 4.15 million tons of light oil used in the production of ethylene each year, which will add nearly 10 billion yuan to the country's new economic benefits. According to the light oil yield of 73%, the processing volume of crude oil can be reduced by 5.68 million tons per year, reducing the dependence on foreign oil by 2 percentage points.
