1. The pump is stuck. Treatment method: Check the coupling by hand and disassemble it when necessary to eliminate some static and dynamic failures.
2. The pump does not drain and the pump is insufficient (or the gas in the pump is not exhausted). Treatment method: refill the pump;
The pump did not turn right. Processing method: check the direction of rotation;
Pump speed is too low. Processing method: check the speed, increase the speed;
The filter is clogged and the bottom valve is not working. Treatment method: check the filter to eliminate debris;
The suction height is too high, or a vacuum occurs in the suction tank. Treatment method: reduce the suction height; check the suction tank pressure.
3. The pump is interrupted after draining. Cause: Leakage in the suction line. Treatment method: check the suction side of the pipe joints and stuffing box sealing;
The suction side gas was not discharged when the pump was priming. Treatment method: Re-injection of the pump is required;
Suction side suddenly blocked by foreign matter. Treatment method: stop the pump to deal with foreign matter;
Inhale a lot of gas. Treatment method: Check whether the suction inlet is vortexed, and whether the flooding depth is too shallow.
4. Insufficient flow. Cause: The system static head increases. Treatment method: check the liquid height and system pressure;
Increased resistance loss. Treatment method: check the pipeline and non-return valve and other obstacles;
The shell and impeller wear rings are excessively worn. Treatment method: Replace or repair wear rings and impellers;
Leakage from other parts. Treatment method: check shaft seals and other parts;
Pump impeller clogging, wear, corrosion. Treatment methods: cleaning, inspection, exchange.
5. The head is not enough. Reason: Impeller mounted (double suction wheel). Treatment method: check the impeller;
Liquid density, viscosity and design conditions do not match. Treatment method: check the physical properties of the liquid;
The flow is too large during operation. Treatment method: Reduce the flow.
6. Pump vibration or abnormal sound. Reason: The vibration frequency is 0~40% working speed. Excessive bearing clearance, loose bearing bushes, impurities in the oil, poor oil quality (viscosity, temperature), oil foaming due to air or process fluids, poor lubrication, bearing damage. Treatment method: After inspection, take corresponding measures, such as adjusting bearing clearance, removing oil impurities, and replacing new oil;
The vibration frequency is 60%-100% working speed, or the seal gap is too large, the retainer is loose, and the seal wears. Treatment method: check, adjust or replace the seal;
The vibration frequency is 2 times the working speed, misalignment, loose coupling, friction of the sealing device, deformation of the housing, bearing damage, bearing resonance, damage to the thrust bearing, bending of the shaft, poor fit. Treatment methods: check, take corresponding measures, repair, adjustment or replacement;
The vibration frequency is n times the operating speed. Pressure pulsation, misalignment, shell deformation, seal friction, bearing or foundation resonance, piping, machine resonance; reinforcement foundation or piping; vibration frequency is very high. Axis friction, seals, bearings, inaccuracies, bearing vibration, poor shrinkage, etc.
7. Bearing heat. Cause: The scratching of the bearing pads is not satisfactory. Remedy: Rework the bearing pads or replace them.
The bearing clearance is too small. Treatment method: re-adjust the bearing clearance or scraping;
The amount of lubricating oil is insufficient and the oil quality is poor. Treatment methods: increase the amount of oil or replace the lubricant;
Poor bearing assembly. Processing method: Inspect the assembly of the bearing as required to eliminate the unsatisfactory factors;
Cooling water circuit. Treatment methods: inspection, repair;
The bearing is worn or loose. Treatment method: Repair the bearing or scrap it.
If loose, tighten the relevant bolts; the pump shaft is bent. Treatment method: correct the pump shaft;
The oil throwing ring is deformed, the oil throwing ring cannot be rotated, and it is not oiled. Processing method: update the oil ring;
Coupling centering or axial clearance is too small. Treatment method: Check the alignment and adjust the axial clearance.
8. Shaft seal heat. Cause: The packing is pressed too tightly or rubbed. Treatment method: relax packing, check water seal tube;
Water seal and water seal tube misplaced. Treatment method: re-check the alignment;
Rinsing, poor cooling. Treatment method: check the flushing cooling circulation pipe;
The mechanical seal is defective. Treatment method: Check the mechanical seal.
9. The rotor moves greatly. Cause: Improper operation, operating conditions away from the design conditions of the pump. Treatment method: strict operation, so that the pump is always running near the design conditions;
Balance is not smooth. Treatment method: to clear the balance tube;
The balance plate and balance platen are not suitable. Treatment method: Replace the balance discs and balance disc bases that meet the requirements.
