Longwan Valve Base obtains "Korean name" gold business card

Recently, the National Torch Plan Longwan Valve Industry Base held a licensing ceremony in our district. This is the first national Torch Program characteristic industrial base in our district, and is also the eighth “GuoZiBao” gold business card in our district.

The valve industry is one of the major traditional pillar industries in our region. In recent years, our district has given full play to location advantages and industrial advantages, highlighted the convergence of valve industry characteristics and projects, continuously issued preferential policies, optimized software and hardware investment environment, and attracted a batch of outputs with good efficiency, high technological content, and strong driving ability. The valve high-tech project landed. At present, there are about 1,400 various types of valve manufacturing enterprises in the region, employing about 40,000 people, and the products account for a quarter of domestic strength. Last year, the region's industrial output value of valves above designated size was 4.19 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.5%.

The construction of the National Torch Plan characteristic industrial base is an important measure for the Ministry of Science and Technology to accelerate the development of high-tech industries. The successful establishment of the base will create favorable conditions for the development of the Longwan valve industry. This year, our district arranged financial science and technology funds and 12.62 million yuan in discounted loans for science and technology to specifically support valve science and technology, and led valve companies to invest nearly 60 million yuan in science and technology R&D funds, significantly improving the industry’s ability in scientific and technological innovation. At present, a total of 16 high-tech enterprises have been nurtured and developed, 6 provincial-level enterprise R&D centers have been established, and 22 state-level science and technology projects have been collectively undertaken. Some companies can develop and produce nuclear safety-grade valves for nuclear power plants and have the ability to participate in the nationalization of major national equipment projects. In addition, the first phase of the construction of 500 acres of land in our district to build Longwan Valve Technology Industrial Base, as the valve of the provincial high-tech industrial base in the core area. At the same time, 20 acres will be planned for the construction of the infrastructure project of the Wenzhou Pump & Valve Research Institute of Lanzhou University of Technology. Once completed, it will become a base for valve industry scientific research, scientific and technological exchanges, results transformation, and technical training in our region, which will strongly promote the acceleration of the valve industry. .
