Major projects include: Jilin Petrochemical expanded its existing nitrobenzene and aniline plants to 280,000 tons and 200,000 tons respectively. At the beginning of 2005, domestic prices of aniline remained strong. As many sets of domestic nitrobenzene and aniline plants were completed and put into operation one after another, downstream products such as traditional medicine, pesticides and dyes were affected by many factors. In the first half of 2005, exports decreased by a certain extent. , entered the international market blocked, the domestic market increased little, so in July 2005 the domestic aniline market has begun to show signs of weakness, the current price of aniline has dropped from the beginning of 15,000 yuan to 12,500 yuan.
