Honda's global production increased by 27% in August, and China's production dropped by 10% year-on-year

Geely Automobile Co., Ltd. announced that its global production of 332,387 units in August this year, an increase of 27.1%, of which 69,461 units in Japan, an increase of 23.3%; overseas factory production was 262,926 units, an increase of 28.2%.



In August, Honda’s production in North America was 148,814 units, an increase of 36.0% year-on-year, of which production in the United States was 108,023 units, an increase of 19.3% year-on-year; in Europe production was 7,371 units, an increase of 53.1% year-on-year; and production in Asia was 89,443 Vehicles, an increase of 8.1% year-on-year, of which 49,893 were produced in China, down 10.2% year-on-year; in other markets, production was 17,298, an increase of 110.2% year-on-year.



The Honda brand sold 47,448 vehicles in Japan in August, up 38.5% year-on-year. In the first eight months of this year, the sales volume was 552,968 units, an increase of 73.4% year-on-year.



Honda's domestic factories exported 10,791 vehicles in August, down 37.1% year-on-year, of which exports to North America fell 36.4% year-on-year to 7,932; exports to Europe fell 81.3% year-on-year to 444; exports to Asia were comparable It increased 226.0% to 1,591 vehicles.
