Buick sold nearly 114,500 vehicles in September, an increase of 5.7% compared to the same period last year. With more than 44,000 vehicles delivered, the Yinglang sedan continues to be Buick’s best-selling model. The sales volume of the GL8 MPV family was almost twice as high as the same period of last year. The performance of the new generation GL8 and GL8 Avenir was particularly strong. Encore is still very competitive in the mid-size SUV market worldwide, with deliveries of nearly 20,000 vehicles last month. The LaCrosse sedan sold more than 9,800 vehicles last month, an increase of 35% compared to the same period last year.
Chevrolet delivered 57,757 vehicles in September, of which the Kowalz sedan delivered more than 20,000 vehicles, continuing to consolidate its position as the best-selling model. The delivery of the Malibu family was close to 14,000, an increase of 52% compared to the same period last year. The explorer global SUV sold nearly 6,200 vehicles last month, an increase of 32% compared to the same period last year.
The Baojun brand sold 94,718 vehicles last month, a year-on-year increase of 51%. The Baojun 510 SUV sold more than 39,700 units, and won the Baojun brand sales championship for the sixth consecutive month. The BMW 310 wagon sold nearly 13,000 vehicles last month. Since its release in July, it has sold more than 31,000 units. Baojun’s first electric vehicle, the BMW E100, sold more than 1,500 vehicles in Liuzhou, Guangxi after listing.
Wuling Motors sold 82,082 vehicles last month, the Rongguang family sold nearly 38,000 vehicles, and Hongguang sold over 35,600 vehicles.
