Operation method of large current generator 1. Connect the circuit according to the working principle diagram. Transformer enclosures, consoles, etc. must be well grounded.
2. Turn on the power supply. The green indicator light on the high current generator (riser) console is on. Press the start button again, and the red indicator light will be on, indicating that the current riser is waiting for the up flow.
3. The large current generator rotates the voltage regulator evenly clockwise so that the output current indicates up to the required large current. In order to ensure the test accuracy, a standard ammeter can be connected in series with the instrument string.
4. In the test of large current generator, once an abnormal situation occurs, the power supply should be cut off immediately and the cause must be ascertained before testing.
5. After the test is completed, the regulator must be reset to zero position. Press the stop button to cut off the power supply; cut off the power supply before removing the test wiring to ensure safety.
The use of high-current generator Note 1, in use, the current transformer and console must be reliably grounded, ensure safety.
2. New installations and transformers that are not used for a long period of time. Before operation, the insulation resistance between the measuring coils and the coil-to-ground insulation resistance of the 1500 megohmmeters produced by Top Electric may be used only when the resistance value is not less than 0.5 megohms.
3, high current generator (riser) designed for short-term work, it is not allowed to work under rated capacity for a long time, in particular, does not allow more than rated current operation to prevent overheating.
4. The contact surface between the regulator and brush should be kept clean. It can be wiped clean with 90% alcohol and cotton yarn as the case may be.
5, when the rise should be slow and even, when moving should avoid excessive vibration.
