China's 4 cities fully implement the national III standard

From May 16th, Guangzhou City has fully implemented the National III standard. In addition to Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, up to now, the number of cities nationwide that have fully implemented the National III standard has reached four, and a number of cities are beginning to implement this clean fuel standard.
According to the arrangement of Guangzhou City, from May 1st, all gas stations in Guangzhou will fully supply fuel for the standard III vehicles in China, and all fuels under the National II standard will be withdrawn after 15 days. From May 16 onwards, all gas stations will only Sales State III fuel. After Shenzhen and Guangzhou successively implemented the State III standard, Guangdong Province will implement it in five cities including Dongguan, Foshan and Huizhou from July 1. On January 1 next year, all cities in the Pearl River Delta will be fully implemented; next year, July 1 On the day, the province was fully implemented. According to the reporter’s understanding, as early as the end of 2006, the State Council had agreed to implement the State III standard in the Pearl River Delta region in advance. Some experts had expected that it would be implemented from the end of the year or from January 2007. However, until this year, Guangzhou City began to fully implement.
It is understood that before the city of Guangzhou, three cities across the country have successively implemented the National III standard. Beijing Municipality has fully implemented the State III standard since December 2005; Shanghai began to implement the Standard III on July 31, 2006 and fully implemented it in 2007; Shenzhen has fully implemented the State III on April 16, 2007. standard.
In addition to the full implementation of the standard in these four cities, some cities have begun to implement the standard. In 2007, the city of Hangzhou formulated a plan to start implementing Phase III standards in phases. In the first phase, starting from July 1, 2007, the newly-established approved models and some newly-purchased vehicles implement State III standards; the second stage, starting from January 1, 2008, will be implemented in diesel vehicles manufactured and sold in Hangzhou. The national III standard; the third phase has been fully implementing the national III standard within the city from July 1, 2008. From May 1 this year, Chengdu has begun to implement the National III standard.
According to the motor vehicle pollution control target formulated by the national environmental protection department, the national first-phase motor vehicle emission standard (ie, the national I standard) was implemented in 2000, and the second-phase motor vehicle emission standard (ie, the national II standard) was implemented in 2005. In 2008, the country began to implement the third phase of national vehicle emission standards (ie, the National III standard), and in 2010 it began to implement the fourth phase of the national vehicle emission standards (ie, the National IV standard). At present, the goals of the first two phases have been reached on time.
