After heavy rainfall on the 21st in Beijing, the 17.5-km Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao expressway was severely flooded under the Nangang-Chongqing Railway Bridge, causing flooding of some vehicles and disruption of traffic along the Changyang section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao high-speed highway. According to the Beijing Fire Protection Department, on-site water accumulated for more than 900 meters, with an average water depth of 4 meters and a depth of 6 meters.
