Installation
Place the table on hard, level surfaces, or you have to upgrade floor condition. If necessary, bolt it to the surface.Â
Air supply
The air pressure ranges from 6 to 8 bars. A water-extractor is needed between the machine and an air compressor. If the air pressure is greater than 8 bars, then an air pressure reducer is needed between the machine and an air compressor.
Note: It is only proper that the air pressure is between 6 to 8 bar, which will ensure the flexibility and safety of your operation. Â
Operation
Connect an air compressor to the machine with an unblocked air tube, and then you can begin to operate the machine.Â
Adjustment of height between two pressing pans
The distance between the two pans is adjustable by turning the lead screw.
Maybes when upholsteringÂ
There are three maybes that may occur:
a. No mould is needed
b. Foam mould is needed;
c. A specially made mould is neededÂ
In any case, you can adjust the distance between the pans or the pressure of the upper pan or both of them to achieve the best upholstering effects.Â
1) Â Foams
It is inefficient to use a mould when output is small. The mould cushion should be made of compressible foams. We recommend using mould cushion made of different types of foam glued together to achieve the best upholstering effects. In addition, these foams must be soft and big enough, that is to say, they should be bigger than the workpiece bet smaller than the machine beam, and otherwise you can't turn them around while stapling.
2)Making special moulds
In the following 4 situations, special moulds are needed
a. A high quality demand
b. Each side of work piece has different curvatures.
c. Work piece is multi-layeredÂ
d. There is no need to amend the mould frequently
There are four threaded holes in the base pan, which are used to bolt mould base plate to the pan.
Operation procedure
Notes: The manual valve only controls the movement of the cylinder and the upper pan, as soon as you turn off the lever, the upper pan stops immediately. We suggest necessary precautions be made for your safety while working.
Operation steps:
a. Put workpiece on the mould, making sure it is covered by foam and other upholstering materials
b. Turn down the valve stem to make the pan moves down to compress the workpiece.
c. Stapling. Staple the workpiece as usual, and you can turn the workpiece while stapling.
d. Turn the valve stem upwards to lift the pressing pan.
Air pressure adjustment
Method: lift the black knob on the valve and keep turning it clock-wise to reduce air pressure to an appropriate level, then press it down to lock it.
Maintenance & repair
1). Maintenance of the air -pressure reducing valve
Lubricating the "o" rings: switch off the air supply, making sure no compressed air exists. Opening the top of the valve and removing the cone shaped component, then you can lubricate it with care.
2). Maintenance of the filter:
Release condensed water regularly, and change another one if needed
3). Change filter
Removing the water container and unscrewing it, replace the old one with a new one. Remember to check its suitability
Special mould making
a. Decide upon the sizes of the mould base plate according to the size of workpiece.
b. Mould base can be made of a 12-16mm thick fiberboard, which is 60mm bigger in size than the workpiece.
c. The frame above the base plate can be divided into four parts. You can shape them by milling or other ways, then assemble them together as following:
